​Village Academy Students Handcrafted Cards

Village Academy of Maryland has joined a charitable organization that helps in uplifting hospitalized children around America through creating handcrafted cards. The creation of these cards can help students with self-expression, mood regulation, releasing stress and lowering anxiety., Students are also able to practice positive social engagement, empathy for others and personal creativity. Each student that participates can accumulate community hours towards their graduation requirements.
This opportunity complements the Village’s mission to provide an Emotionally Nurturing and Therapeutic environment for students.
